Cybersecurity Engineer
Work Location: Hybrid (In-office and out-of-office work) and field visits
Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and talented junior cybersecurity engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and a creative approach to tackling complex digital challenges. This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to client sites or the office when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Remote Security Diagnostics
- Analyze systems to identify vulnerabilities.
- Propose tailored solutions to enhance security.
Cyberattack Mitigation
- Respond to security incidents in real time.
- Implement anti-piracy protection measures.
System Audits and Evaluations
- Conduct comprehensive security audits.
- Provide detailed reports and recommendations.
Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing
- Identify potential vulnerabilities through testing.
- Develop preventive solutions to mitigate risks.
Support and Advisory Services
- Assist and train internal teams/clients.
- Collaborate on implementing cybersecurity policies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity tools and technologies (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.).
- Familiarity with frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP.
- Expertise in diagnostics, risk analysis, and remediation.
- Experience in ethical hacking and penetration testing (certifications like CEH, OSCP, or similar are a plus).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify technical concepts.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Creative mindset, autonomy, and attention to detail in task execution.
- Availability and flexibility to adapt to varying schedules if required.
- Prior experience working remotely is a plus.
